Building/Testing & Animal Life Cycles for Grade 3

About the Session:

Join us at the Central Alberta Regional Consortium offices in Red Deer for one 75 minute and one 60 minute workshop covering Grade 3 Testing Materials and Designs, and Grade 3 Animal Life Cycles.  Ed Kusmirski will demonstrate ideas and activities for how to build and test structures. Sabrina Lynn will cover Animal Life Cycles by touching on terminology and sharing ideas of how to bring this subject into your classrooms.

5:30 pm to 6:45 pm Building and Testing Grade 3

7:00 pm to 8:00 pm Animal Life Cycles Grade 3

Please note that no meal will be provided.

About the Presenter(s):
Ed Kusmirski Ed Kusmirski, P.Eng. is the Executive Director of the Alberta Science Network and has been providing workshops through the Alberta Science Network for Teachers in Alberta for a number of years. These workshops are directly linked to the Alberta Curriculum. Sabrina Lynn

 Sabrina Lynn, M.Sc. is the Program Coordinator for the Alberta Science Network in Central Alberta. She obtained a B.Sc in Biology from the University of Northern British Columbia, and a M.Sc. in Biology Zoology)  from the University of Calgary.

Request for cancellation or refund must be received in writing (fax/email) at the CARC office a minimum of 3 FULL business days prior to the event start, or registration fees will apply and refunds will not be issued. If you are unable to attend a session and unable to provide three FULL business days’ notice, please feel free to delegate an alternate to attend in your place.
