Friday, February 02, 2018 | 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Session Location:
Central Alberta Regional Consortium 8 Page Avenue, Red Deer, AB
About the Session:

The magic that happens when we can truly connect with a student is remarkable. Attunement is the language of engagement. It involves a strong awareness of ourselves, close observation of others and knowing how to read and react “in the moment”. When this happens, it appears effortless but the outcomes we see in children are powerful. In this workshop, we will focus in on the very important and intricate language of attunement. We will learn about patterns of expression and how to really tune in. This workshop will be powerful for those working with children who demonstrate challenging behaviour, sensory processing differences, anxiety or who may have experienced trauma. This workshop is designed to be “hearts and hands on.”
