About the Session:

We are hearing all about the benefits of mindfulness and how it can enhance memory, learning and social awareness. What is mindfulness and how can we implement it into our classrooms? We will explore the theory, research and benefits of mindfulness while participating in activities to experience the benefits ourselves. This course will easily expand on the Zones of Regulation curriculum.

About the Presenter(s):
Kari Lotzien Kari Lotzien is a passionate and creative therapist who has over 16 years experience working with children and their families. She has been in private practice for 10 years and has recently opened "To the Stars Occupational Therapy and Alternative Healing Clinic" in Lacombe. Kari has expanded her practice to include children and family yoga as well as individual, family and small group therapy and workshops.

Request for cancellation or refund must be received in writing (fax/email) at the CARC office a minimum of 3 FULL business days prior to the event start, or registration fees will apply and refunds will not be issued. If you are unable to attend a session and unable to provide three FULL business days’ notice, please feel free to delegate an alternate to attend in your place.
