Building Capacity in Alberta Schools and Classrooms
Subsidies are being offered through a grant from Alberta Education to support implementation of the revised CTS curriculum.
Teachers can be reimbursed for attendance costs for CTS sessions related to subject-specific and skills oriented activities for Trades, Manufacturing and Transportation (TMT), Business, Administration, Finance and Information Technology (BIT), Health, Recreation & Human Services (HRH), Natural Resources (NAT), Media, Design & Communication Arts (MDC) clusters/courses.
Sessions/courses should be provided by approved Alberta post secondary institutions, however, other PD providers may be considered. Sponsored, nonsponsored and any other CTS related courses qualify for subsidy funding.
